How can builders follow up old property leads with AI calls?
Builders can upload old enquiries as a CSV and run a bulk AI calling campaign that asks each buyer whether they are still looking, what has changed in their budget or timeline, and whether they would like to visit a new tower or launch. Outpero calls as many leads at a time as you have channels, with retries and DND screening, and flags the warm ones for your sales team.
Every developer has a dead-lead database
A project that has been marketing for two years has thousands of enquiries from portals, Meta ads, hoardings and channel partners that were called once or twice and then dropped. Many of those buyers did not buy anywhere. Their plans paused because of a job change, a loan delay or a wait for possession elsewhere.
Calling them manually rarely happens, because telecallers are rightly busy with fresh leads. That makes old leads one of the cheapest sources of site visits a developer has.
How a reactivation campaign runs
- 01Export old leads from your CRM with name, phone, project enquired and date of enquiry.
- 02Upload the CSV to an Outpero bulk campaign, set calling windows such as 11 am to 7 pm, and choose how many retries to attempt.
- 03The agent opens with context, for example the buyer's earlier enquiry about a 2 BHK, then asks whether they are still looking.
- 04For buyers still in the market, it updates budget, configuration and locality, mentions what is new, such as a new tower, ready-to-move inventory or a festive offer you have approved, and offers a site visit.
- 05Every call ends with a disposition and custom fields, exportable as a CSV or sent to your webhook, so sales can sort by intent.
| Lead age | What the agent asks | Likely outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Under 3 months | Has anything changed since your enquiry | Site visit or callback |
| 3 to 12 months | Still looking, and is the budget the same | Updated requirement, some visits |
| Over a year | Are you still in the market at all | A cleaner database and a few revived buyers |
Keep it respectful
Some numbers will be on the DND registry, and some buyers will say they have already bought. The campaign screens DND numbers, and the agent should accept a no at once, thank the buyer and mark the lead closed, so nobody gets called again about the same project.
What it costs
A reactivation call that ends in a quick no lasts under a minute; a full requalification takes three or four. If half of 5,000 old leads connect and the average call runs two minutes, that is about 5,000 minutes, or roughly ₹25,000 on the Standard voice. That is the top of the monthly cost range of one telecaller (₹15,000–₹25,000), who could not make that many calls in a month.
