Auto Dialer Price in India: Software, Hardware and AI Compared
An auto dialer in India costs anything from about ₹700 per user a month for a software add-on to roughly ₹1,200 per concurrent line for an outbound dialer plan, while an AI dialer is priced per connected minute from ₹5. The sticker prices are not comparable, because a dialer saves your callers' time and an AI dialer replaces it. This guide sets out published prices, worked monthly examples and the costs vendors leave out. Outpero publishes it and sells an AI dialer.
Three ways auto dialers are priced
An auto dialer is software or equipment that dials numbers from a list automatically, so that people do not key them in by hand. Indian vendors price it in three different ways, and most price confusion comes from comparing one way with another.
- —Per seat: you pay for each human agent who logs in. The cost grows with headcount. Knowlarity, MyOperator, Tata Tele Smartflo and NeoDove price this way.
- —Per concurrent line: you rent a number of simultaneous calls, whatever the headcount. Tata Tele Smartflo's outbound dialer plans work this way, and Outpero's channels do too.
- —Per connected minute: you pay for the time a real person is on the line, and nothing for rings that go unanswered. AI voice agents, including Outpero, price this way.
Hardware dialers, which are boxes with SIM slots that sit in an office, are a fourth model: a one-off equipment cost plus SIM plans and upkeep. No hardware vendor's price was verified for this guide, so none is quoted. Ask any hardware seller for the full bill, including SIM rental, replacement, electricity and who fixes it when a SIM is blocked.
Published auto dialer prices in India
The table uses prices published on each vendor's own site, read on 2026-10-14. Where a vendor shows no figure, the cell says so. Telephony charges, GST and add-ons are noted where the vendor states them.
| Vendor | What is priced | Published price | What the page leaves out |
|---|---|---|---|
| MyOperator | Auto-dialer add-on for human agents | From ₹700 per user per month | Base plan is separate: Sedan ₹5,000 a month or SUV ₹15,000 a month for 10 users, billed yearly, GST extra |
| Knowlarity | Cloud contact centre | From ₹1,999 per agent per month | Outbound dialer pricing is on request; softphone plans carry a minimum one-year contract |
| Tata Tele Smartflo | Outbound dialer (OBD) flat-rental plan | ₹10,000 one-time plus ₹1,200 per concurrency | Per-minute calling not stated; Lite plan is ₹5,000 one-time plus ₹950 per licence a month |
| Tata Tele Smartflo | Voice streaming, inbound and outbound | ₹20,000 one-time plus ₹1,100 per concurrency | Fair-use cap of 5,000 minutes per user per month, pooled |
| NeoDove | Telecalling dialer and CRM, yearly | NeoLite ₹17,999 and NeoPlus ₹24,999 a year, excluding GST | Seats included per plan, IVR and WhatsApp API, which cost extra |
| Exotel | Contact-centre plans with dialers | XPrime $70 and XPro $100; billing unit not stated | Every plan is Talk to Sales; AI voice agent pricing not published |
| Ozonetel | Predictive, power, preview and progressive dialers | Not published | Pricing page did not load on 2026-10-14; demo-led |
| Outpero | AI dialer: instant lead calls, bulk campaigns, inbound | Standard ₹5 or Premium ₹6.8 per connected minute; number ₹649 a month including 1 channel; each extra channel ₹649 a month | 18% GST is added; no setup fee and no subscription |
Read the first rows with care. MyOperator's ₹700 is an add-on cost on top of a plan, and Smartflo's concurrency price covers the line only, not the person who talks on it. The software prices buy you dialing. The talking is still paid for in salaries.
What a human-staffed dialer really costs a month
A telecaller in India costs roughly ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 a month, with ₹18,000 a reasonable reference. They work one shift and handle one call at a time. Add a dialer and the salary is still the largest line.
| Item | Five telecallers, dialer add-on | Five telecallers, Smartflo Pro licences | AI dialer, 1,000 connected minutes |
|---|---|---|---|
| People | 5 x ₹18,000 = ₹90,000 | 5 x ₹18,000 = ₹90,000 | None for first-touch calls |
| Dialer or calling software | 5 x ₹700 = ₹3,500 on top of a base plan | 5 x ₹1,250 = ₹6,250, plus ₹10,000 one-time | 1,000 x ₹5 = ₹5,000 on Standard |
| Number | Not stated | Not stated | ₹649, including 1 channel |
| Monthly total, before GST | About ₹93,500 plus the base plan | About ₹96,250 plus one-time ₹10,000 | ₹5,649 |
On GST, the AI line is ₹5,649 plus 18%, which is about ₹6,666. The comparison flatters AI unfairly if you read it as like for like, because five human callers can handle complex, high-trust conversations that an AI employee should hand over. The honest reading is narrower. For repetitive first-touch calls, reminders and follow-ups, the cost per conversation falls sharply. For judgement-heavy calls, you still need people, and then a good dialer pays for itself by cutting idle time.
How AI dialer pricing works, step by step
- 01Credits are prepaid and 1 credit is ₹1. They do not expire, and signing up gives 50 free credits, no card.
- 02Each connected minute is deducted at ₹5 on Standard or ₹6.8 on Premium. Unanswered calls are not billed.
- 03A dedicated +91 number is ₹649 a month and includes one channel. A channel is one call at a time, so five channels means five calls at once.
- 04Extra channels are ₹649 a month each. You can add or remove them in any month, which matters for seasonal peaks.
- 05GST at 18% is added to all of it. High volumes get custom rates and setup help.
Want to hear this working, not just read about it?
The channel rule tells you how fast a list finishes, not what it costs. Each channel works through roughly 55 dials an hour, so a 1,000-number list on three channels takes about six hours. More channels finish the same list sooner and cost ₹649 a month each, while the minutes cost the same however many channels you run.
Break-even against flat monthly plans
Some AI vendors sell flat monthly plans instead of per-minute billing. Vomyra publishes ₹19,999, ₹39,999 and ₹79,999 a month plans, shown at annual pricing, with concurrency of 2, 6 and 15 calls respectively. VoiceGenie publishes ₹12,000 for 1,000 minutes, a rate of ₹12 per included minute.
Take Vomyra's ₹19,999 plan with two concurrent calls. Two Outpero channels cost ₹649 for the number plus ₹649 for the extra channel, ₹1,298 in all. Subtract that from ₹19,999 and divide by ₹5, and the flat plan only becomes cheaper once you pass roughly 3,700 connected minutes a month. Below that, per-minute billing costs less. Above it, a flat plan is worth pricing. VoiceGenie's unused minutes expire each billing interval, so a flat plan penalises a slow month.
Vendors count different things: connected minutes, attempted calls, per-second billing, minutes pooled across users. Ask for the definition in writing before comparing two prices.
Costs that rarely appear on the pricing page
- —Number and carrier charges. Outpero's ₹649 covers compliance and carrier fees. Elsewhere the number, toll-free line or SIP trunk may be separate.
- —Onboarding. MyOperator lists a ₹20,000 one-time dedicated onboarding fee for standalone AI plans. Enterprise AI vendors such as SquadStack mention a one-time setup cost without an amount.
- —Minimum commitments. Knowlarity's softphone plans carry a one-year minimum with quarterly advance payment, and several AI vendors set a monthly minimum.
- —Add-ons. NeoDove lists WhatsApp API, IVR and VoIP as extra-cost items.
- —Review time. Someone has to listen to recordings and refine scripts every week, whatever the tool.
Cost per conversation: a worked example
The most useful price is not the monthly bill but the cost of one real conversation. The example below uses assumptions, not benchmarks. Replace them with your own pickup rate and call length before you rely on the result.
| Step | Assumption or calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Dials in the month | A list of 1,000 numbers, called once | 1,000 dials |
| Pickup rate (assumed) | 3 in 10 numbers answer | 300 conversations |
| Average talk time (assumed) | 2 minutes per answered call | 600 connected minutes |
| Minute charge on Standard | 600 x ₹5 | ₹3,000 |
| Number for the month | 1 channel included | ₹649 |
| Total before GST | ₹3,000 + ₹649 | ₹3,649 |
| Cost per conversation | ₹3,649 divided by 300 | About ₹12 |
The same list on three channels takes roughly six hours of calling and adds ₹1,298 for the two extra channels if you keep them for the month, so you would remove them after the campaign. Run the same arithmetic for a human-staffed dialer using your callers' real salaries and the conversations they actually complete in a day. The gap tells you whether your calls are repetitive enough for AI, or whether your team's judgement is the point.
Which pricing model suits which team
- —A team of 10 or more human callers on warm data: per-seat dialer software, likely from MyOperator, Knowlarity, NeoDove or Ozonetel, since your cost is mostly salaries and idle time is the saving.
- —A very small team or a founder doing follow-ups: AI per connected minute, since you pay only when a conversation happens.
- —Spiky demand such as ad campaigns, admissions seasons or festival offers: AI with channels you add for the peak month and remove afterwards.
- —Steady five-figure minute volumes: price a flat plan against per-minute billing using your own numbers.
A three-step way to get a fair quote
- 01Write down monthly dials, the share you expect to be answered, and average talk time. For a first test use your own figures, not a benchmark.
- 02Ask each vendor to price that exact month, with the number, GST, onboarding and minimum commitment on the quote.
- 03Divide the total by the number of connected conversations. That cost per conversation is the figure to compare, across software, hardware and AI.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an auto dialer cost in India?
+
Published prices start around ₹700 per user a month for MyOperator's auto-dialer add-on and ₹1,999 per agent a month for Knowlarity's contact centre. Tata Tele Smartflo's outbound dialer plan is ₹10,000 one-time plus ₹1,200 per concurrent line. AI dialers price per connected minute, from ₹5 at Outpero plus GST.
Is a hardware auto dialer cheaper than software?
+
Not necessarily. A hardware dialer has an upfront equipment cost, then SIM rental, replacements and maintenance, and it ties your calling to one office. No hardware price was verified for this guide, so ask for the full yearly bill, including SIMs, before comparing it with a cloud dialer.
What does an AI dialer cost compared with a normal auto dialer?
+
An AI dialer is billed per connected minute, at ₹5 or ₹6.8 on Outpero, and replaces the caller as well as the dialing. A normal dialer costs per seat or per line and still needs paid human callers, around ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 a month each. The comparison depends on how repetitive your calls are.
Are auto dialer prices in India inclusive of GST?
+
Usually not. MyOperator states GST is extra, NeoDove's prices exclude GST, and Outpero's prices exclude 18% GST. Always ask whether a quote is before or after tax, and whether telephony, toll-free numbers and onboarding are included in the monthly figure.
Do I pay for unanswered calls?
+
On Outpero, no. Credits are deducted only for connected minutes, and each call log shows what it used. Seat-based dialers charge per agent regardless of how many calls are answered. Always confirm how a vendor defines a billable call, since some bill every attempt.
How many calls can an AI dialer make at once?
+
That depends on your channels. A channel is one call at a time on your number, and each extra channel is ₹649 a month, so five channels run five calls together. Each channel works through roughly 55 dials an hour, so three channels take about six hours for 1,000 dials.
The Outpero team builds AI voice agents for Indian businesses, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and English. Figures are from Outpero's own product unless another source is named.
